Compact Storage Mod 1.12.2/1.11.2 (Chests and Backpacks)

Compact Storage Mod 1.12.2/1.11.2 is a mod which adds several new storage items and blocks into the game. This is similar to the Iron Chests mod, but it also adds a portable storage option in the form of backpacks. The chests and backpacks are divided up into tiers (double, triple, quadruple, …), with every next upgrade, the storage space increases. The backpacks are accessed by right-clicking when a backpack is in the active toolbar slot.

Quadruple Backpack

The Quadruple Backpack is a storage item added by the CompactStorage mod. It is a portable version of the Quadruple Chest which can be carried around by the player. When activated, right-clicking will open the storage. This backpack has a total of 108 available slots.

Quintuple Backpack

The Quintuple Backpack is a storage item added by the CompactStorage mod. It is a portable version of the Quintuple Chest which can be carried around by the player. When activated, right-clicking will open the storage. This backpack has a total of 135 available slots.

Sextuple Backpack

The Sextuple Backpack is a storage item added by the CompactStorage mod. It is a portable version of the Sextuple Chest which can be carried around by the player. When activated, right-clicking will open the storage. This backpack has a total of 153 available slots.

Double Backpack

The Double Backpack is a storage item added by the CompactStorage mod. It is a portable version of the Double Chest which can be carried around by the player. When activated, right-clicking will open the storage. This backpack has a total of 54 available slots.

Triple Backpack

The Triple Backpack is a storage item added by the CompactStorage mod. It is a portable version of the Triple Chest which can be carried around by the player. When activated, right-clicking will open the storage. This backpack has a total of 81 available slots.

Double Chest

The Double Chest is a storage block added by the CompactStorage mod. It is an upgrade to the vanilla Chest which offers 54 storage slots, like a vanilla double chest, but in a single block.

Triple Chest

The Triple Chest is a storage block added by the CompactStorage mod. It is an upgrade to the Double Chest which offers 81 storage slots.

Quadruple Chest

The Quadruple Chest is a storage block added by the CompactStorage mod. It is an upgrade to the Triple Chest which offers 108 storage slots.

Quintuple Chest

The Quintuple Chest is a storage block added by the CompactStorage mod. It is an upgrade to the Quadruple Chest which offers 135 storage slots.

Sextuple Chest

The Sextuple Chest is a storage block added by the CompactStorage mod. It is an upgrade to the Quintuple Chest which offers 153 storage slots.

How to install:

1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
   • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
   • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
